Anniversary of Nova Scotia mass shooting: PM Trudeau pays tribute to 22 victims
HALIFAX: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today paid tribute to the 22 victims of the horrendous mass shooting on its second anniversary.
Two years ago today, the lives of countless Nova Scotians were forever changed in the worst mass shooting in our country’s history.
It was one of the darkest days in our history. The lives of 22 people, including a woman who was pregnant, were taken. Many more were changed forever. Two years later, our thoughts remain with Nova Scotians – we’re here for you and we’ll always remember the loved ones you lost, Trudeau said.
He further added on behalf of the Government of Canada, I invite all Canadians to remember each of those who lost their lives and stand with all those affected by this attack.
