Trudeau blamed for not acting effectively in Kabul evacuation
Canada: After today’s blast outside the Kabul international airport, the Canadian officials has said that they are canceling all the future evacuation process in Kabul right now. This statement has led many opposition leaders to criticize the Liberal government. Moreover, many Canadian troops, citizens who went there to help the humanity have been left out there by its own government.
Justin Trudeau has been criticized that he did not act in a timely manner. He did not focus in the evacuation process instead he is busy in doing campaigns for the upcoming elections. The officials said that about 8000 applications have been received by IRCC from Afghanistan and about two-third of them have been already processed.
The NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh said that Justin Trudeau failed Canada as a prime minister and it is really bad for our people who we left behind. Furthermore, Erin O’Toole also appealed to the Liberal Party to cancel all the election campaigns for upcoming 24 hours as it is a crucial time for all of us. The individuals who are stuck in Afghanistan need our help.
Joe Biden shared his condolences to the families whose family members got killed in the Kabul suicide attack. As of now, 72 people died and 100 got injured in this blast including American personnel, troops. In his speech, he warned those who are behind this attack. Biden assured that these terrorists will be hunt down as soon as possible and have to pay for their consequences.
