Canadian government considering to reopen embassy in Kyiv-Deputy PM
Ottawa: Canada government is planning to resume working of its diplomatic mission in Kyiv soon.
Deputy Prime Minister of Canada Christia Freeland, while speaking to press in Washington, told the media that Canada considering to reopening the office and said, “We’re talking about it,” the when she questioned about prospects of reopening the embassy in Ukraine again.
She said that her government had discussed the issue with Ukrainian Prime Minister Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in Washington and various issues have been discussed.
The Ukrainian PM informed that his government is taking concrete efforts to restore normal life in the capital.
