Opposition leaders come in support to Trudeau

Bolton: On Friday, Justin Trudeau arrived in Bolton for his campaign in a bakery shop. As protestors get to know, they arrived at the site before the event begin. They started shouting and criticizing Trudeau over his strategy regarding the vaccination drive. On seeing the rage of protestors, the event got delayed by two and a half hours. Then it got cancelled due to the security concern as the protestors outnumbered the Liberal supporters.

After being hours delayed, Justin Trudeau arrived and being followed by the protestors inside the bakery shop where he was about to address. Trudeau mentioned about the vaccination drive being carried in the nation and appraised all the front-line workers for their hard work. He urged all the people to get vaccine as soon as possible. Moreover, he said that the children above 12 years old must get their vaccine. To this, the protestors replied to leave the kids from vaccine.

When the protest turns into violent, the campaign has cancelled in the middle. As Trudeau, left for his bus, many protestors stand in the way holding “Trudeau Treason” board.

Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau cancelled his campaign rally because the anti-vaccine activists turned the protest violent. Therefore, due to the security issues, the campaign got cancelled after being delayed for 2 hours. Many protestors shouted and used vulgar words to humiliate Justin Trudeau.

After this event many leaders come in support with Trudeau and boycott this misbehavior of the protestors. Erin O’Toole said in his campaign that some of his party members have been seen in the Friday rally of Trudeau and now they have been suspended from all his party events. He said that there are etiquettes of the protest that must be followed. Moreover, he also said that there is zero intolerance of obscenity.

NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh also came in support with Trudeau and condemned the behavior of the protestors during Liberal Party campaign. Furthermore, he advised Liberal party not to worry about their security and urge Canadians to get vaccine as soon as possible.

All the opposition leaders agree with Trudeau that there is only one way to come out of this pandemic is to get vaccinated and to bring back the normality of pre-pandemic times.
