Patriot Front leader among 31 arrested near Idaho Pride
Washington: Thirty-one members of the Patriot Front, an organisation of radical whites, have been arrested on charges of attempting to incite a riot near the Idaho Pride event.
They were in a truck, and all of them wore special uniforms. Coir d’Allen’s police chief Lee White said during a press conference that they had come to incite riots. He said that during the investigation, the officials have found documents and evidence that show that the men were planning riots not only in the park but also in several areas outside the city.
White said police had found a grenade, shields and other items inside the truck. The caps on their arms and heads had logos on them which indicated that they were members of the Patriot Front. The arrested men came from 11 states, including Washington, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Illinois, Wyoming, Virginia and Arkansas. Kuttenai County Sheriff Bob Norris said it appeared the men had not come to perform peacefully.
