Express Entry draws to return to normal from July 6
Ottawa: After a hiatus of over 18 months, Canada government is going to resume the Express Entry draws for all program from Wednesday (July 6).
Canada’s Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has confirmed the development on Twitter and said, “Starting July 6th, 2022, qualified candidates will be invited to apply for permanent residency from the following programs:
1.Federal Skilled Worker program
2.Federal Skilled Trades program
3.Canadian Experience Class, ” Minister wrote on his Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, under the express entry draws, Canada immigration rank candidates in the pool using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). They select candidates with the highest-ranking from the pool and invite them to apply for permanent residence.
