Son charged with murder of his parents in Toronto apartment
Toronto: A 28-year-old man was arrested by police after two bodies were found in an apartment in Toronto on Wednesday. The man has been charged in connection with the murder of his parents.
Police arrived at a building near Bergamot and Islington Avenue at 1:40 a.m. after receiving reports of the stabbing. According to investigators, a man and a woman were found dead in an apartment while a man was found sitting near them with stab wounds. The injured person was taken to a hospital. His wounds were not life-threatening.
Police identified the victims as Colin Henry, 68, and Veronica Henry, 67. Toronto-based masquequer Alfa Henry was taken into custody and charged with two first-degree murder cases in connection with the incident.
Police said Maskuk is the son of the deceased couple. These charges have not yet been proved in the court.
