Two workers killed in explosion at northern Alberta oil and gas site in Alberta
Alberta: Two workers were killed in an explosion at a northern Alberta oil and gas site near Slave Lake, about 250 km north of Edmonton, the RCMP said.
Police said they were called to the blast site on Saturday at one of the Marten Hills sites. The cause of the incident is being investigated due to which no further information has been released.
Two contractors who were working at the site were killed and further investigation is underway, police said.
