Three, including a 16-year-old boy, arrested in connection with carjacking
Toronto: A 16-year-old boy is among the three men arrested in connection with several incidents of carjacking that took place in different areas of the city in mid-April.
Toronto police said there were four incidents of carjacking in the Parkwoods and Waxford/Marywell areas between April 17 and April 19.
The area is located on The Don Valley Parkway on Highway 401 and Humber Street near Finch Avenue West on Jane Street. According to investigators, in each case, a man approached the driver with a handgun and demanded a vehicle from him. In three cases, the man managed to take away the vehicles but in the fourth case he had to return empty-handed from the area.

Investigators searched the three vehicles and recovered evidence related to the investigation. Police found an Airsoft handgun with an extended magazine. Jonathan Hoffman, a 33-year-old from Toronto, has been charged with 24 counts. and robbery on the head of weapons.
