NIA raids 16 locations across Kashmir Valley; 70 detained
Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 16 locations across Kashmir valley on Sunday and detained over 70 youths in connections with two cases including ISIS voice of Hind case and TRF case.
The raid has been conducted after the rising crime in the valley by militants against minority community.
NIA sources said that raid is still going on at nine locations in Srinagar, Anantnag, Kulgam, and Baramulla and several stone pelters and anti-India elements are being questioned.
70 youths have been detained in Srinagar and a total of 570 people have been detained across Kashmir in the past 2-3 days. The crackdown by security forces took place just after the terror attacks on minorities three days ago.
Two government school teachers were shot dead by militants in Eidgah area here on Thursday. The incident of killing civilians are on rise in in Jammu and Kashmir as seven people had been killed in last five days including four from minorities.
