Ireland to Apply New Travel Rules Starting From December 5, Due to Deteriorating COVID-19 Situation
All travellers arriving in Ireland would have to furnish negative test results of a coronavirus test from December 5.
The decision has been taken by the Irish Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, on December 3, in a move to a move to contain virus spread amid the increasing rise of the new virus variant, Omicron cases across the world.
The Ministry of Health issued a statement that passengers without proof of vaccination or recovery must show a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours of arrival, which means that antigen tests are not accepted for these travellers.
