Canada approves Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
Ottawa: In a move to contain virus spread and strengthen fight against COVID-19, Canadian government has approved Moderna’s coronavirus vaccine.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that health Canada has approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine for children who are between 6 months old and 5 years old. All approved vaccines are safe and effective, and they remain the best line of defence against serious illness and hospitalization.
