After Indian-origin Republican leader Nikki Haley presented her candidacy for the 2024 presidential election in the United States, it has become clear that she will challenge former President Donald Trump.
She presented her claim for the presidential elections through a video.
Two years ago, it was not a challenge for Trump, but now she has changed her mind. In fact, Indian-American Republican Party leader Nikki Haley had indicated last month that she would contest the US presidential election 2024 against Joe Biden. Her parents are from Amritsar, India.
In an interview in January, American Republican Party leader Nikki Haley was asked if she was going to run for president of the United States in 2024.
“This is the time for new generation, it is time for new leadership, and it is time to take our country back. America is ready for war and we are just getting started.”
In fact, Nikkei had said in April 2021 that she would not contest if former President Donald Trump was in the race for the 2024 White House election, but in January she said in an interview that the Republican Party also needed young leadership.
