Indian men’s hockey team thrashes Canada 8-0 in Commonwealth games
New Delhi: Indian men’s hockey team produced a completely dominating performance against Canada to win the match 8-0 in their third match.
For India, Harmanpreet scored two goals while Amit, Lalit Upadhyay, Gurjant and Mandeep scored one goal each and Akashdeep scored two goals.
Under the captaincy of Manpreet Singh, the Indian team against Canada, maintained the pressure from the first quarter. India performed consistently well.
