Justin Trudeau’s visit in Surrey is not welcomed by protestors

Surrey: Since 2015, Justin Trudeau visited White Rock area three times in his leadership. The first two visits were in 2017 where a lot of enthusiasm and appreciation was seen by the residents but this time, it did not happen as people show their rage and they protested at the campaign stop.

In his speech, he mentioned that a new rule is being made in which all the big financial companies and profitable banks will now pay three percent more tax on all the earnings over $1billion as during the pandemic these institutions made a lot of profits. Moreover, a Canada recovery dividend plan will also be introduced for these big financial institutions to contribute more towards the recovery of the country’s economy.

Furthermore, he talked about the housing related crisis which he assured that his government will do its best to make the down payment affordable under his new scheme. Amidst of all the chaos, Justin Trudeau’ promises were seen in vain as the protesters were not very pleased by his visit.
