Man faces 43 charges after multiple vehicles damaged in Toronto
Toronto: A man has been charged on 43 counts for vandalising several vehicles in Toronto. As many as 36 vehicles were allegedly damaged by the Toronto man.
Police said the vehicles were damaged on Bay Street, St Joseph’s Street, Dundonald Street, Church Street and Monteith Street in the Church Wellesley area on Wednesday evening.
Investigators arrested 28-year-old Tyle Douglas Mclean of Toronto and charged him with 36 counts of $5,000 in mischief and four counts of violating probation rules.
McLean was also charged for intentionally raising a fire alarm. He was produced before the court on Thursday.
Toronto police are contacting vehicle owners and believe that more such people may have come to light whose vehicles have been damaged. Therefore, to help the people, a public portal has also been set up by the police where people can share information with the investigators by putting pictures of the damage done to their cars.
