Ontario set to ease COVID-19 restrictions Monday
Ontario: With the sharp slump in daily positive Covid-19 cases, the government is planning to remove the restrictions and going to allow businesses such as restaurants, bars and fitness centres to function without following any restrictions imposed in wake of the pandemic from Monday, Oct. 25, a government source said.
Sources said that the cabinet approved the changes on Thursday and will be announced soon.
The move has been taken by the government after Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore gave a go-ahead and was satisfied with decline in the covid surge after the recent holiday weekend.
