PM Trudeau greets Muslims on Eid al-Adha
Ottawa: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha today.
In a statement he said that to Muslims across the country and around the world who are coming together with the ones they love and celebrating Eid al-Adha tonight: Eid Mubarak! I hope that you find peace and meaning through the practice of your faith.
He further said that today and every day, we recommit ourselves to building a better Canada where everyone can feel welcome, safe, and respected.
