Ontario: Spiritwood RCMP investigating and searching for two suspects after reports of shots fired on Witchekan Lake First Nation on Monday.
Police have also released identity and pictures of both suspect. According to the police, first suspect Kelly Witchekan: brown hair and eyes and secondMelvin Starblanket: black hair, brown eyes.
They said that a Red Mustang located and is not involved. Investigation now focussed on the Witchekan area.
They also advised citizens to stay vigil and don’t approach suspects in the Witchekan area.
Several armed suspects at large, possibly on foot. At this time, it’s not believed to be connected to the James Smith Cree Nation investigation, police said in a statement.
