The NHSP is a federal grants and contribution program that aims to help projects that keep the elderly active in the community and engaged in other activities. Every year institutions across Canada are invited to apply for NHSP funding through proposals for community-based projects. These projects are run to empower seniors in their communities and improve their health.

Grant funding of up to $25,000 is provided for these projects. These proposals will remain open till November 1, 2022.

MP Khera recently said that the government has taken meaningful action to make life more affordable for Canadians especially seniors— and they will continue to work hard to build an economy that works for everyone.
