US to end COVID-19 vaccine conditions for Canadians at land border, international air travellers
Washington: From next week, the US is going to end the conditions of the Covid-19 vaccine for Canadians at international air travelers and borders.
On May 11, international air travellers, federal employers and federal contractors will not have to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, the White House in a statement.
“Due to the conditions of our COVID-19 vaccine and the special campaign launched in this regard, several million lives were saved across the country.” It was also said that now these conditions regarding the vaccine are no longer required as we have reached a different stage.
The statement also said that the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Homeland Security are also going to end the process of requiring vaccination.
The White House also said that more such decisions related to vaccination will be communicated to everyone in the coming days.
