US to issue record number of visas to Indians this year
Washington: The US embassy in India and its consulates plan to issue a record number of visas for Indians this year.
According to the Consul General Mumbai, this comment has been made on the big pending issue of applications in every category of visa.
At present, the waiting period for Indians applying for a work visa is between 60 and 280 days, while for a visitor visa, it is about one-and-a-half years.
