Vaccination becomes mandatory for British Columbians to attend all social events
Effective from Sep 13, 2021, all the British Columbians must have at least one dose of government authorized vaccine if they wish to attend any social event in B.C. Meanwhile, by Oct 24, 2021, both doses of vaccination would be required for the same. This step has been taken by the officials to curb the number of active COVID-19 cases in the province and to protect all from the virus as the new DELTA variant of COVID-19 has been spreading faster as compared to other variants. As per reports, B.C has the highest vaccination rate of 75% in Canada. Yet, for the past few days, suddenly the COVID-19 cases started rising gradually.
The second wave of virus taught the Federal government that until all the Canadians do not get the vaccination shots, COVID-19 virus wouldn’t stop from haunting the minds of Canadians about their wellbeing. Moreover, there has been almost two years since the pandemic broke out and it shook the economy of Canada.
The economy of Canada would only get on its track only and only if the Canadians are safe. At this point, where businesses get started again, there has an emergence that the Canadians must get their vaccine as soon as possible if they do not want another lockdown.
For the validation of vaccination, the government has suggested an easy way that a secure weblink will be shared with those who have got their first or both doses of vaccination. Then these individuals can download their valid proof and can get privilege to attend any social events in B.C.
Following are the events, British Columbians can attend if they get one or two doses of vaccination from prescribed dates:
Indoor ticketed sporting events
Indoor concerts
Indoor theatre
Restaurants
Night clubs
Casinos
Fitness centers
Weddings, conferences, meetings etc.
