Youngster giving tepid response to get COVID boosters in Canada
Ottawa: Youth in Canada is showing lukewarm response to Canada’s Covid-19 vaccination drive as only 35% people between 18 and 29 have received a third dose.
According to the government data, about 42% of people between 30 and 39 and over 72% of people aged above 40 received vaccination.
A Calgary-based doctor, on the request of anonymity, who studied vaccine hesitancy said that this data is predictable and he is not surprised that Young Canadians are showing unwillingness for vaccine.
He, however, said that it is completely wrong that vaccine may have long term side-effects citing different studies.
